Not to be confused with iced coffee, cold brew coffee is made by steeping ground coffee in cold water and extracting the flavour and caffeine over a 12 to 24 hour period. Here's how to achieve your perfect cold brew.
Pact coffee (90g to a litre)
Measure out the required amount of coarse-grind Pact coffee, using a ratio of 90g to a litre. Put this into your filter.
Put your filter into your jug and pour your required amount of cold water directly through the coffee.
Allow the coffee to brew at room temperature for up to 24 hours.
Keep tasting it every four to six hours until it’s to your taste. The longer you brew it, the more the intensity of flavour.
Once it’s just right, remove the coffee grounds and serve or refrigerate.
